The voters have spoken. While this was not the outcome we hoped for, I respect the decision of our community. I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported my campaign—those who volunteered, made calls, placed signs, prayed for us, and most importantly, took the time to vote. Your encouragement, kindness, and belief in our vision mean more than words can express.
Running for office is never about one person. It’s about service, community, and the desire to make a difference. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and hear your ideas for the future.
I also thank God for the incredible blessing of being able to serve this community for nearly 30 years. It has truly been an honor, and I will continue to serve with the same dedication and heart that has guided me throughout my career. To the winning candidate, I offer my congratulations and wish them success as they serve our community.
My commitment to this community does not end tonight. I will continue to work, serve, and support the place we all call home. To God be the glory for every opportunity, every lesson, and every blessing along this journey. This campaign may be over, but my commitment to this community is not. Titles may change, but a servant’s heart never does.
